Question 1

Does Tello sell phones with its plans?

Accepted Answer

Not in the offers we currently hold. Tello supplies 0 live plans to us and none of them include a handset, so we show no Tello phone prices at all rather than estimate them. The moment a phone deal appears in the feed it is listed on the Tello phones page.

Question 2

How much does a Tello phone plan cost per month?

Accepted Answer

We have no verified Tello handset price to quote, because no phone deal is present in the feed we receive. We will not publish an estimated monthly cost.

Question 3

What do you pay upfront for a Tello phone?

Accepted Answer

No upfront handset cost has been published for Tello in the data we hold, so we do not show one. Where an operator states an upfront figure it appears on the deal card next to the monthly price.

Question 4

Which phones can you get on Tello?

Accepted Answer

None are listed. Tello is not supplying handset offers in the feed we receive, so the phones page is deliberately empty.

Question 5

Are Tello phone deals on a contract?

Accepted Answer

We hold no Tello handset offers, so there are no phone contract terms to report. Tello SIM-only plans and their terms are on the operator page.

Question 6

Can I bring my own phone to Tello instead?

Accepted Answer

Yes, in almost every case. An unlocked phone that supports the T-Mobile bands can be activated on Tello using eSIM or a physical SIM, and you can keep your number by requesting a port during signup rather than cancelling your old service first.

Question 7

What coverage do Tello phones get?

Accepted Answer

A Tello phone uses the T-Mobile network, so coverage is that network's coverage at your address — it does not vary by handset. Signal depends on your ZIP, the bands your phone supports and whether the building blocks signal, so check your own ZIP before switching. We do not publish our own coverage measurements.

Question 8

Do Tello phones support 5G, eSIM and hotspot?

Accepted Answer

We cannot answer this from Tello handset deals because we hold none. Tello does support eSIM on its SIM-only plans. 5G availability is listed per plan on the operator page.

Question 9

Are there activation fees or taxes on top?

Accepted Answer

No Tello handset deals are listed, so no phone activation fee or tax treatment is published here. Fees on SIM-only plans are shown on the operator page.

Question 10

When were these Tello phone prices last checked?

Accepted Answer

There is no verified Tello handset price check, because no phone deal has been supplied to us. Nothing on this page is estimated.

Question 11

Do you earn money if I buy a phone through this page?

Accepted Answer

Sometimes. If you buy through a link on this site we may earn a commission from the operator or its affiliate network. It never changes the ranking, the prices we show, or which phones appear — those come from the same verified catalogue either way.
